NEW LIGHT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH 2024

In October 2006, God planted a burning desire within me to start a great movement of God’s people that would center their focus on family and community, and not traditionalism.  This vision has been dear to my heart, because in the times that we are living in our people are perishing from the lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

 

New Light Bible Fellowship Church is a 17-year old church planting initiative that will help those who choose to be a part understand the deepness of God, and his love and compassion for his people without the restrictions of modern day traditionalism and denominationalism. 

 

New Light Bible Fellowship Church was birth into existence from the concept of the intellectual movement called "The Enlightenment" associated with the 18th century. This is one of those rare historical movements which named itself because many of the thinkers of that time had a new revelation or “New Light” of how religion and other beliefs came into existence, or how reason could be used to explain certain occurrences or phenomena’s. Certain thinkers and writers believed that they were more enlightened than their compatriots and set out to enlighten them.

 

They believed that human reason could be used to combat ignorance, superstition, and tyranny and to build a better world. Their principal targets were religion and the domination of society by a hereditary aristocracy.

 

We believe that God has shed a “New Light” upon the body of Christ, and as a visionary of God, I believe that God has called out such a group of believers as we are at New Light Bible Fellowship Church to help spread that light in our families, in our community, and across the world.
